Operation Tokhang refers to a police operation observed in Cebu wherein the police, and sometimes the barangay officials, go from one house to another of suspected drug users and pushers and knock on their door and ask them to surrender. The term tokhang comes from the Cebuano language words tuktok (knock) and hangyo (ask).

These operations are violations of the right to the presumption of innocence of the persons in the list, and the failure of the police personnel or barangay officials to inform the suspect of his rights under custodial investigation may be a violation of the Custodial Investigation Law (Republic Act No. 7438).
